Being honest and realistic NO PARTY going to win more than 10 seats its totally impossible for NDP to win so much seats when ULP will definitely win North Central,South Windward,North Windward,South Central,West and East St.George Marriaqua and Central Leeward.Thats eight sure seats for ULP,The NDP most likely will win the 3 Kingstown seats and the two Grenadines....North Leeward and South Leeward can go either way...

YEAH MAN....IT was GREAT!!!
It was so so,any ulp meeting that doesn't involve rigged voting or rape is a good meeting. Own the campaign? What campaign, all you morons are doing is calling lynch and putting down the phone,I'd hardly call that owning a campaign,it's called being a dumb@ss
NDP is a really decent Party Boy, the ULP talking about Vynnette's sexuality, but NDP never said anything about BOY BEACHE and THOMPSON.
Iverson James, it seems like you're becoming EMOTIONAL. LOL LOL LOL

Does it has ANYTHING to do with the FACT that NO ONE takes your SPAMMING threads serious or is it that you're FINALLY COMING to the CONCLUSION that the ULP and their SUPPORTERS have been OWNING the CAMPAIGN and so you know it NUFF LICKS the NDP will be GETTING on ELECTION DAY?

LABOUR ME SEY!!!
"The NDP candidates lack the commitment, capability, or capacity to effectively function in the higher echelons of state governance. Thus, amidst widespread discontent with Gonsalves and the ULP, the NDP offers little or no hope"".

Even though I recognised the bias slant of the writer; the gist of the above quote is more in align with my thinking. Of course I disagree with the writer's conclusion in this article; I believe the ULP is in dire straits due to the share incompetence of Ralph Gonsalves..but also the quality of the ULP candidates are on par and in some instances below par when compare to those of the NDP. I also think there are/were some NDP candidates that really should not be facing the electorate this election. And one such candidate is Burton Williams. I never thought much of Burton and he coming back suggest two things: 1. the NDP could not find or borther to look for a better candidate-in other words, Burton is expendable 2. The ULP CANDIDATE IS JUST THAT WEAK.

If one is to be brutally honest...both NDP and the ULP slate of Candidates lack quality...and the only reason the NDP will win this election is because of the leadership of Ralph Gonsalves..its that simple...this writer is predicting a 9-6 in favor of ULP...but if you take a closer look at the writer's reasoning for his or her picks..they could go either way...but here are a few picks that I am 99.9% certain that NDP will win...Linton will beat Burgin hands down...Burgin has gone off the deep end...the dynamics have drastically changed in the consitituency. In the Mespotamia area..Bowman is going to shake up Girlyn; again here we have another ULP candidate that has taken folks for granted and has been missing in action for sometime now...Bowman has his shortcomings as a speaker but I think he makes up for that in workmanship and service to the community; something you can't say of a person like Luke Browne..who never worked a day in his life and never contributed anything worthwhile to the communiity. Its only now that he is pretending to mingle with folks in attempt to garner votes but I digress...Jerrol Thompson is another ULPcandidate that has gone off the deep end and has done nothing for the past five years to convice North Leeward to reelect him. Patel will win by default...plus you can't help thinking that Thompson desperate and malicious lie about Patel, effectively killed any chance he may have had to win a third term...By the way, I AM STILL WAITING ON THE TAPE OF PATEL MATHEWS HOLDING A CUTLASS AGAINST SOMEONE'S THROAT.

As for the other candidates...they are either instances of toss up or thorough defeat..take for example Luke vs Eustace...no contest..just like what the writer said about the candidate against Ralph; likewise for the candidate running against Eustace..its ova before it started. The KINGSTOWN AREA IS A NDP LOCK DOWN. A race between say.Bash and Saboto..to me this is the epitome of a toss up...you can shut your eye and pick one..but one must ask yourself this, if the ULP is as strong as some folks like Vincy, are suggesting in that area; why then did they not run back their candidate?...why change a winning formula, unless of course, you think that formula has turn sour...When the ULP changed that many candidates; it indicated to me that the ULP CANNOT RUN ON THEIR INDIVIDUAL RECORDS..
The writer proclaimed that the NDP is not excited enough...well in this hard guava crop; and the state of crisis the country is in..there is really nothing to get excited about...what folks are looking for is someone to LEAD THEM OUT OF THIS CRISIS. Ralph Gonsalves has shown that he is a LEADER IN PUBLIC SPEAKING WHERE YOU SPIN WORDS to hoodwink folks. Gonsalves has showh his limitation as a leader...he has not the skillset to manage scarce resources or the ability to delegate. Gonsalves believes in "onemanism" and in this day and age; such kind of thinking is outdated and undemines the pillars of democracy. So while the NDP lmay lack excitement and some questionable candidates; I dare say that the NDP has a leader of INTEGRITY, RESPECT, AND THE SKILLSET THAT IS NEEDED FOR THE ECONOMIC ENVIRONMENT WE ARE IN AT THIS MOMENT in St Vincent and the Grenadines...and the wider community.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------If the NDP wants to defeat the ULP in the next general elections, the party must do something about the current slate of candidates. Save for a few, the members of team NDP seem incapable of exciting voters and motivating them to oust Dr Ralph Gonsalves and his “dream team”. Vincentians may clamour for change; they may want the Comrade to go; however, this is highly unlikely with the present crop of candidates being put up by the New Democratic Party.

An examination of the NDP’s slate would reveal a bunch of guys who are recycled, aging, or downright boring. It is difficult to see how these gentlemen can enthuse the populace, especially the young people, to vote for them. The NDP candidates lack the commitment, capability, or capacity to effectively function in the higher echelons of state governance. Thus, amidst widespread discontent with Gonsalves and the ULP, the NDP offers little or no hope.

To illustrate the point, let’s take a look at what the party has to offer. On the windward side of the mainland there is Elvis Daniel in the North. He lost to Monty Daniel -of all persons- in 2005. Elvis may be a good Christian and an excellent teacher, but a poor politician. He moves as if he has no interest in represenative politics at all. Monty Daniel will beat Elvis Daniel again.

Further down in North Central Windward, the NDP offers up Cameron ‘Dinky’ Balcombe. He does not have a ghost of a chance against Ralph Gonsalves. Moreover, Dinky is possessive of a questionable temperament. He often comes across as rude and childish. No reasonable person would even consider Cameron Balcombe to be a candidate in any election. He could not even be elected as a classroom monitor.

The people of South Central Windward must contend with Addison ‘Bash’ Thomas. He is basically a dead, a non-entity. It is amazing that the NDP would pick him as a candidate. Saboto Caesar should beat Bash in every polling station. In South Windward, Burton Williams is old, staid and tired. He is trying to make a comeback. It is not entirely clear why he wants to make a return to Parliament. Is it that the NDP could not do better? Perhaps it is safe to assume that Burton Williams is seeking to secure a retirement plan. He therefore thinks that another stint in the House would do it for him.

In the St. George area, Dr Linton Lewis plans to make a third attempt for the NDP. However, anyone who failed to beat a sloth like Clayton Burgin could not be much of a candidate. Moreover, Linton is all about Linton and the people of East St. George see right through him. Dr Lewis is destined to be trounced by Burgin again. In the other St. George, Vynette Frederick stands a good chance. However, she is coming up against a formidable opponent from the ULP, Cecil Mackie. Yet, Vynette is the only hope for the NDP on this side of the island.

The NDP’s candidate for Marriaqua, Curtis Bowman comes over like an exuberant teenager who is for just out for a good time. Furthermore, he has a speech impediment that severely hampers his delivery. And, he does not exude confidence; he never comes across as genuine. Curtis cannot be a serious candidate. The people of Marriaqua will do well to return Mrs Girlyn Miguel.

The NDP trio for the Kingstown area: Arnhim Eustace in the East, Major St. Clair Leacock in Central and Daniel Cummings in the West are the most viable candidates for the NDP. They have a relatively good track record as opposition parliamentarians. More significantly, the NDP Kingstown candidates will each come against a ULP weakling.

On the leeward side of the island, the situation for the NDP appears quite dismal. In the South, there is Nigel ‘Nature’ Stephenson. He has not advanced much since his defeat in 2005. There are also some questions now hanging over his head and these may taint his candidacy. However, the failure of the ULP to name a good candidate may work to Nature’s advantage. Against a decent opponent, though, Stephenson is destined to fail again. Meanwhile, in Central, Norell Hull who is making his fourth attempt will be no match the dynamic Maxwell Charles of the ULP. Further up in the North, Patel Matthews did nothing to endear himself to the people. He has little to offer and should be beaten by Jerrold Thompson.

The Grenadines candidates, Godwin Friday and Terrance Ollivierre are not necessarily an exciting duo. However, the islanders will vote for anyone put up by the NDP for as long as Sir James Mitchell stiil wield some influence.

The people of this country are looking for change. They are looking for something better. Unfortunately for Vincentians, change will not happen with the NDP. Come next elections, it will be 9 – 6 in favour of the ULP. The NDP is simply not exciting enough.

SICKO SAADISS, LESLI PATTERSON knows that the NDP CANNOT win, but he or she GOT the NUMBERS WRONG. The ULP, as I have STATED, will win by another LANDSLIDE.

ULP will win EVERY SEAT on the MAINLAND and it will COMPETE AGGRESSIVELY for the SOUTHERN GRENADINES SEAT.

LUKE BROWNE will DEFEAT Arnhim Eustace.

SICKO SAADISS, one only has to LAUGH at your ANALYSIS, especially in SOUTH CENTRAL WINDWARD and NORTH LEEWARD.

Clearly you do not have a CLUE as to what has been ACCOMPLISHED in those two CONSTITUENCIES under the REPRESENTATION of Jerrol Thompson and Selmon Walters, which is why I have to LAUGH at your ANALYSIS.

There is NO WAY BASH is going to DEFEAT SABOTO CAESAR in SOUTH CENTRAL WINDWARD, PERIOD. SABOTO will win that SEAT by a LANDSLIDE.

As for NORTH LEEWARD, JERROL THOMPSON will DEFEAT PATEL "LAZY" MATTHEWS handsomely. Again, THOMPSON told the TRUTH about PATEL PUTTING a CUTLASS to the THROAT of an ORDINARY CITIZEN of NORTH LEEWARD.

That said; the fact that ULP can REFRESH itself, with EXCELLENT CANDIDATES to REPLACE those that won in PREVIOUS ELECTIONS, only shows you the DEPTH and ATTRACTIVENESS of the PARTY. LOOK at how MANY BRILLIANT YOUNG CANDIDATES have decides to run on the ULP TICKET.

Now look at the NDP...one would have THOUGHT that it is that party which would have REFRESHED itself. But they CANNOT because NO ONE of CLASS and GOOD CHARACTER want to been seen linked to that PARTY.

The NDP is just RETURNING a BUNCH of LOSING CANDIDATES to RUN for OFFICE

1. PATEL "I LOVE TO PUT CUTLASS AT PEOPLE'S THROATS" MATTHEWS - LOSER

2. NOREL "THREE TIME LOSER" NULL - BIG TIME LOSER

3. NIGEL "I LIKE THEM YOUNGER" STEVENSON - LOSER

4. DANIEL "I LOVE TO STONE CHURCH" CUMMINGS - LOSER

5. MAJOR BOUNCER - BIG TIME LOSER

6. ARNHIM "I AM NOT MR. CLEAN...CALL ME MR. NASTY" EUSTACE - although he has won, he is still a LOSER, because he has LED his PARTY to TWO CONSECUTIVE LANDSLIDE DEFEATS and will LOSE by another LANDSLIDE in the UPCOMING GENERAL ELECTIONS.. Not only that, he will LOSE his SEAT to LUKE BROWNE in EAST KINGSTOWN

7. VYNETTE "GIVE ME FIVE DOLLARS TO SAVE DEMOCRACY IN SVG" FREDERICK - LOSER

8. LINTON "LIKE THEM YOUNG" LEWIS - BIG TIME LOSER

9. Curtis "I HAVE A SPEECH PROBLEM" BOWMAN - DECENT GUY, WRONG PARTY, WILL BE DEFEATED.

10. BURTON "WE GINE CHRISTEN PARSON'S PICKNEY FUSS" THOMAS - THE BIGGEST LOSER OF ALL

11. ADDISON "SABOTO GINE BASH ME" WILLIAMS - LOSER

12. NORTH CENTRAL WINDWARD CANDIDATE - LOSER

13. ELVIS "DEY MOVE ME, SO DEY VICTIMIZED ME, BUT I AM STILL GETTING THE SAME SALARY" DANIELS

The NDP will LOSE again by another LANDSLIDE, this I have no DOUBT.
Powa, what I have doubts about is your ability to apologize...So are you going to disabuse me of such notion and APOLOGISE FOR HAVING PORNOGRAPHIC MATERIAL IN THE PRESENCE OF A SIX YEAR OLD?

A YES or NO would suffice.
SICKO SAADISS, it is OK BRAYING JACKASS, just TAKE YOUR LICKS like the SICKO that you're. You're MAKING ANALYSIS and you do not have a CLUE of what is going on in the COUNTRY. LOL LOL LOL
Yes VINCY, 5 YEARS are DEFINITELY in the BAG for the ULP
