The Prime Minister has issued a stern warning to public servants who try to “sabotage” the governance of the Unity Labour Party (ULP).
Speaking at a political rally in Park Hill last Sunday, August 29, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said that there are some public servants who work against the Government believing that they will face no consequence because it is an election year.
He noted that they also believe that the ULP will not take action against them for fear of losing votes.
“There are some public servants; some of them want to undermine you... to sabotage you!” he said.
To those public servants who would behave in such a manner, Gonsalves admonished: “Don’t think I’m afraid that by dealing with you and your family [that] you won’t vote for me.”“The fact that you sabotaged me means you and your family don’t intend to vote for me!” said Gonsalves.
The Prime Minister promised the ULP faithful at the rally that such persons will be dealt with accordingly “even if it’s the day before elections”. (JV)

Hey Saadiss thanks for the letter - when I first heard about this letter I thought that someone was just joking. Is this serious? We are gonna end up the laughing stock of the Caribbean.
This is the mental picture that I got when I read the letter - picture this St.Vincent 2010 - a fat child sitting in the playground sandtrap - thumb in mouth - crying - turning redder by the minute - mother comes over - totally fedup of this child that cries for everything - "Boy, what wrong with you now?" - fat, crying child, snot running down his face - "Marmi he tek why me thing and walking away with it"
Mother "Boy that ting was not yours to begin with, you stole it from some one else - I tired tell you leave people wid them ting - IS NOT YOURS, you don't know how hard they had to work for it. Shut up and get your backside home before I give you just what you deserve."
If Ralph can take the heat then stay out of the kitchen, because from what I heard the pot now start to cook.
