Isn't it ironic that while Anesia is being recognised internationally....attempts are being made to SILENCE her on the homefront.

Powa there was no need for Anesia to turned up at Frenches House today; since it was confirmed since yesterday that she would not be receiving the award. The reason for this....I don't know.

Anesia has always been a young lady I have admired. One from very humble beginnings, she has risen above the many trials she has had to endure. Her parents I am sure are very PROUD of her.

We need more Anesias in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
Femme, the reason why there she did not turn up at Frenches House has nothing to do with what you have STATED. If you read the article by THE NEWS, she was not one of the 8 persons' picked for the AWARD. The real question is, who in SVG NOMINATED the MAD GYEL for the award and why didn't she show up at an event done specifically in her honor?
Please tell me I am not losing my marbles!! I fully understand what the newspaper article states., That said, whether or not she was among the 8th finalists.....she was going to be recognized for her achievement.

Your quote Mr Powa:-

...."I WONDER WHAT HAPPENED TO THE MAD GYEL....did she make it to THE CEREMONY at Frenches House....was there even a CEREMONY...lol". The mere fact that you are asking if there was a ceremony says something. Are you confirming that the event never took place. If so, I would really like to know why, and who called the shots to cancel the function. Something just aint right.
Femme, it seems someone was MAKING ANTI SEMITIC REMARKS over the AIRWAVES and so that PROBABLY LED to the MAD GYEL not SHOWING UP at that event. Then again, maybe THE NEWS got the story wrong. Maybe it published this story without checking to see if it was accurate. THE NEWS has become a RAG paper so one has to be skeptical about what is written.

Again, I would like to know WHO NOMINATED the MAD GYAL in the FIRST PLACE and what did she do to DESERVE such a NOMINATION?
1. Mc gregor Bowman, I am sure that you do not SERIOUSLY BELIEVE that Anesia has not done anything wrong. If Anesia was in the PRIVATE SECTOR and she had talk about her BOSS and the COMPANY in that MANNER, she would have been on the UNEMPLOYMENT LINE a very LONG TIME AGO, PERIOD.

Moreover, if it were the NDP GOVERNMENT that was in OFFICE, ANESIA would have been FIRED a VERY LONG TIME ago, PERIOD. So your CLAIM that she did NOTHING WRONG is either disingenuous or you are just PLAIN GULLIBLE. I like to believe that it is the latter.

My OBJECTION to ANESIA has NOTHING to do with HATE. It has to do with her STUPIDITY to think that she can say and do as she pleases without IMPUNITY.

China is opened to TOURISM. Although China is a COMMUNIST nation, CAPITALISM also strives. TOURISM is also a MAJOR part of CUBA’S economy. I GUARANTEE that you won’t have an EMPLOYEE of either of those GOVERNMENTS speaking ill of their LEADER, and the country as a whole, and still being EMPLOYED. And that is the CRUST of the issue with ANESIA. You cannot have an employee, who is the COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER of the MOST IMPORTANT MINISTRY of the country, as it relates to the ECONOMY, going on the AIRWAVES and in the PRINT MEDIA speaking about the LEADER is a COMMUNIST and DICTATOR and that the POLICIES of that GOVERNMENT are COMMUNISTIC and also WISHING that the OTHER PARTY becomes the GOVERNMENT of the DAY. COME ON, you have got to be an ABSOLUTELY JACKASS to think that somehow it is MORALLY and LEGALLY CORRECT what she has been doing.

2. Mcgregor Bowman, you’re even making my CASE STRONGER by what you just OUTLINED. What you have stated is even more REASON why Anesia should have KNOWN better than to do what she did. Now she has jeopardized all that you have stated by PLAY POLITICS with her LIVELIHOOD. I hope it was WORTH IT.

3. Mcgregor Bowman, I do not know how you can say that Anesia did nothing morally or legally wrong. Nevertheless, these are the 16 CHARGES by the PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION against Anesia.

1) On 16th November 2009 at Richland Park made the following statements likely to bring the public service into disrepute and prejudicial to the discipline and to the proper administration of Government business to the effect:

‘So why you voting next election you better put your vote by the Key because it is the NDP who have at least agreed and shown that they are the ones who will stand in protection of your fundamental, God given rights and freedoms’:

‘You have to vote yes for the government that says they will protect your rights and freedoms because they recognise they come from God. And I am telling you without a shadow of a doubt and I am telling you without any fear that it is the NDP who stood up and agreed with us, not the ULP’.... See More

(2) That, contrary to law and in contravention of the duty of loyalty to the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines owed by you as a public servant, on 18th November 2009 at Sion Hill made the following statements likely to bring the public service into disrepute and prejudicial to the discipline and to the proper administration of Government business to the effect:

‘Indeed I am truly happy to be here tonight on this same stage with the President of the New Democratic Party, the Honourable Arnhim Eustace and the other members of Parliament Honourable St Clair Leacock, Honourable Daniel Cummings and other Members of this platform.’

‘And I want to say one last thing, I want to say one final thing, this country needs a lot ah hope because we hear very bad news lately concerning how our economy is doing and so on and often times when I listened to the Honourable Arnhim Eustace and I hear the sincerity and the genuine concern in his voice for the country and how it is going and the people I feel sad and at the same time I want to pat him on his shoulder because I have an assurance and I have a confidence my dear people that a change is going to come in this country, that a change is going to come. But it wouldn’t be always so, we wouldn’t alway have Dr. Gonsalves to contend with.’ ‘... Then after that go out and vote the NDP back into office for a better country of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.’

(3) Publicly criticised major governmental policies and personalities, in particular the Government’s foreign policies, when you said in a weekly column published in The News on 23rd December 2009:

‘It is now clear that our Prime Minister, by his involvement with ALBA, sought to involve with the social revolution of which Chavez speaks, by taking steps to make us into a socialist state, like Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua ... ALBA is not built upon a solid ideological ground and its ideological points are in fact flawed, making it have no place in the modern world. By the grace of God, should he see me becoming Prime Minister in the future of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, our nation will vacate this useless organisation’.

(4) On a talk show programme The New Times, on December 4th, 2009, showed support so strident as to be seen to be personally pushing an agenda of individuals in an Opposition Party and said "We here, Senator Cummings, Senator Leacock, they are candidates for the next election, they want to go into office to save people…. We have just begun and we have to go forward into the next elections and take back our country, take back our freedoms by voting the NDP into office because they are the ones in this whole controversy who stood for the fundamental God-Given inalienable rights and freedoms of the people".

(5) OnFriday December 11, 2009 published in The News, publicly and vehemently accused your employer, the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Prime Minister of autocratic and coercive Behaviour, comparing the conduct of the Prime Minister and his Government to that of a communist regime:

"…you sound so much like the 'god like king' in Dr. Gonsalves who has already condemned the No Voters to damnation (he told us history will damn us), when you speak of whirlwinds for us to reap and day of judgement, that even me wonder if he is writing in your name. Whether or not this is the case, I warn you no to lift up your horn as he has done…." And "…the people won the preservation of their inalienable rights and freedoms and reflected the beginning of a philosophical revolution in their hearts, which will never end until tyrannical attitudes, policies and legislations cease to exist in this country."

(6) On Friday December 18, 2009 published in The News, publicly and vehemently accused your employer, the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Prime Minister of autocratic and coercive Behaviour, comparing the conduct of the Prime Minister and his Government to that of a communist regime:

"The News newspaper and others have been damned by the ‘god-king’ of the ULP who seem to know the end from the beginning, dictating who shall be saved and lost politically… Anyone damning the Country because of exercising its choice would have damned it if such a perverted Constitution had won. With such thinking such a person and political party is not fit to make the corridors of power." And "if the writer of this (ULP) column fails to see this but tries to shift the argument to things Vincentians were not against, then he/she has no respect for the claims, petitions and pleas of people. Such an insensitive leadership is not fit to govern a people And whether the leader opens his mouth to speak, his utterances always disqualifying him, until he switches over to the truth." and "This wickedness must be cried and sighed against lest the creeping communism from which we were saved on November 25 overtake us again." and "it is a rotten state of affairs when a government in a democratic state can begin to sound so communistic. The cost of liberty is struggle and vigilance eternally. So let us keep our eyes opened and be watchmen on the walls of Hairouna, neither holding our peace nor keeping silence, but crying and sighing for the political abominations that plague our lands. We must also look forward at least 15 months hereafter, where our redemption of a golden era of respect for rights and freedoms, pursuant to social and material prosperity draweth night!"

(7) On Wednesday December 23, 2009 published in The News publicly and vehemently accused your employer, the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Prime Minister of autocratic and coercive behaviour, comparing the conduct of the Prime Minister and his Government to that of a communist regime:

"This weekend I read at least (3) news stories reporting on the recent ALBA meeting in Cuba. They left me very disturbed when I consider that our nation is a part of this Association. I had to ask myself over and over, what do we have to do with this? Why is St Vincent and the Grenadines a part of this? Did Vincentians vote the ULP into office for them to join us into this?" and "Besides, who elected him to agree to take a stand against the USA for their position on the Honduras matter? Does Dr. Gonsalves even care about what Vincentians think about this matter? The idea of representational governance is twisted. The people elected you so to office, but not to do every last thing that you may want to use your office as Prime Minister to do, certainly not decisions like these which can see our nation and people ending up in a war we never knew we were fighting in the first place."

(8) On Thursday December 31, 2009 in weekly column published in The News, publicly and vehemently accused your employer, the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Prime Minister of autocratic and coercive behaviour, comparing the conduct of the Prime Minister and his Government to that of a communist regime, in particular:

"Vincentians ought to take notice of these threats to our freedoms coming from the ULP Column against the Press (The News Newspaper) and from their supporters towards Vote No supporters. It is the people who have the power to change you next elections, by their secret votes. Any victimizing change you make in 2010 will only be temporary but when by secret ballot the people make our changes it will be for a long time. We have changed and are not the same! The NDP, Green Party and other potential representatives ought to take note that the people of this Country will not tolerate this attitude from any of you. We demand full, lawful enjoyment of our freedoms now, in 2010 and beyond! God is on our side and ultimately He is in control. So play yourself…"

and "Yet is dishonourable for me to be critical of his ideas or behaviour accordingly, although I do not slander or use other evil remarks against his person. How much more twisted, contradictory and hypocritical can such persons seriously be?"... See More

(9) On Friday January 8, 2010 published in The News, publicly and vehemently accused your employer, the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Prime Minister of autocratic and coercive behaviour, comparing the conduct of the Prime Minister and his Government to that of a communist regime:

"The attacks against freedom loving Vincentians continue from which is nothing of the rights and freedoms hating communists among the ULP." And "How could a political party in government which holds honourable offices, can so engage itself in continual falsehood against a legally incorporated non governmental organisation (NGO) in a Country, is truly despicable and unbecoming of their noble calling. Yet this is the evil of which the ULP is guilty for the last few weeks since the referendum and even a few days before it." And "The ULP’s 'Social democratic' confessed policies, its attitude, speech and intention (to stop dissenters) all reflect the spirit of rights and freedoms hating communists. Freedom loving Vincentians will continue to expose them and then remove them from political office in a little while."

(10) On Friday January 15, 2010 published in The News, publicly and vehemently accused your employer, the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Prime Minister of autocratic and coercive behaviour, comparing the conduct of the Prime Minister and his Government to that of a communist regime:

"One of the inalienable (God-given) freedoms communist are known to attack first is the fundamental human freedom of expression….Whether it is Grenadian Maurice Bishop’s suspension of the publishing of certain dissident views in the early 1980’s. Venezuela’s shut down of radio stations in 2009 or Cambodian Communist Pol Pot who murdered nearly one third of his country’s population (approximately 1.5 million), Communism is known to be anti-freedom of expression, in particular freedom of criticism. The ULP administration’s threat to the News newspaper recently because of the differing view of its Editor with the Prime Minister, is more than good enough reason to raise an anti-communism cry. Compounded with this is our Prime Minister’s promise to continue Maurice Bishop’s legacy. It only takes a spark and a government’s attack of free expression, free speech and freedom to criticize is often the beginning. Bloodshed soon follows as seen in history."

11) On Friday January 22, 2010 published in The News, publicly and vehemently accused your employer, the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Prime Minister of autocratic and coercive behaviour, comparing the conduct of the Prime Minister and his Government to that of a communist regime:

"Let Grenadian Maurice Bishop’s communistic behaviour be our lesson today. His is a communistic legacy, one which no ruler in government in SVG should want to continue! So we will get rid of them before the tale of Grenada becomes our reality."

(12) On January 12th 2010 on Cross Country Radio recklessly and improperly made unwarranted and unsubstantiated accusations of impropriety against the Prime Minister: holds communistic ideologies and threatens the media and press in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

(13) On January 15th 2010 on SVG Television recklessly and improperly made unwarranted and unsubstantiated accusations of impropriety against the Prime Minister that the said Minister: is a dishonourable gentleman who spreads falsehoods and lies; holds communist ideologies and threatens the media and press in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

(14) On January 19th 2010 on Cross Country Radio recklessly and improperly made unwarranted and unsubstantiated accusations of impropriety against the Prime Minister: threatens the media and press in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and "will continue the wicked legacy of Maurice Bishop."

(15) On January 22nd 2010 on SVG Television recklessly and improperly made unwarranted and unsubstantiated accusations of impropriety against the Prime Minister: holds communistic ideologies and threatens the media and press in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and will continue the legacy of Maurice Bishop.

(16) That you, on January 26th 2010 on Cross Country Radio 'Your Rights and You', recklessly and improperly made unwarranted and unsubstantiated accusations of impropriety against the Prime Minister, a Minister of the Crown and Minister of Legal Affairs: threatens the media and press in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and will continue the work of Maurice Bishop, the said accusations being outlined in excerpts hereto attached and marked "O" for identification.

Mcgregor Bowman, if the PM defamed Anesia’s institution, I suggest that it takes him to court. I guarantee you that it is not going to end up in her institution’s favor.

Mcgregor Bowman, when it comes to VICTIMIZATION, Anesia is the one who is GUILTY of that PRACTICE. She has VICTIMIZED the GOVERNMENT and the LEADER of this NATION with her RABBLE ROUSING comments.
