THE NEW NDP/SCLC POLL: ULP 10 AND NDP 5
Well, it seems the more the NDP does their POLLING, the WORSE it is GETTING for them. Like I told you guys, REFERENDUM is REFERENDUM and GENERAL ELECTION is GENERAL ELECTION. By the TIME the GENERAL ELECTION is READY to be called, I am TOTALLY CONFIDENT that the SITUATION is going to be WORSE for the NDP.
You cannot WIN a GENERAL ELECTION talking all that NEGATIVE PROPAGANDA CRAP, which the NDP has been SPEWING from since the REFERENDUM, because it will CATCH UP to you EVENTUALLY.
And like I said, you cannot COMPARE what took place in the REFERENDUM to what is likely to take place in the GENERAL ELECTION. Because during the REFERENDUM you had one party playing POLITICS with the PROCESS while the other was just EDUCATING the PUBLIC on the CONTENT of the PROPOSED CONSTITUTION. How people took that to mean the NDP is going to win the GENERAL ELECTION is just MIND-BOGGLING to me.
Like I said, when everything is SETTLED and when the ULP POLITICAL MACHINE gets ROLLING for the GENERAL ELECTION, there can be no DOUBT which party is going to win, because it will come down to KITCHEN TABLE ISSUES, LEADERSHIP, QUALITY OF THE CANDIDATES and GOOD GOVERNANCE and PLANS and POLICIES. When you SPEAK to those ISSUES, it is not even a CONTEST of any WORTH, because the ULP will BEAT the NDP every SINGLE TIME.
As the WEEKS and MONTHS go by, the ULP is SIMPLY GOING to get STRONGER and STRONGER...this I have NO DOUBT. So what looks now like a 10-5 TRASHING of the NDP will be a 15-2 TRASHING when the REAL NUMBERS come in from the GENERAL ELECTION.

That said;it wouldn't be WISE to REVEAL the SOURCE of the NDP/SCLC INFO. I am sure you can FIGURE out why.
Saadiss, the 1 million dollar is no MINDBENDING TRICK. You should tell EUSTACE and the NDP to tell the NATION where the money come from. They said it is MONEY LAUNDERING, so that should tell us that they KNOW where the money came from, so why are they AFRAID to tell the NATION?
That said; I wonder if it was MINDBENDING TRICK that led to 1.4 MILLION DOLLARS LEAVING the NCB, NEVER to be RETURN. Did the NDP tell us what happened to the TAXPAYERS' 1.4 million dollars....did they RECOVER it? How about the 180+ MILLION DOLLARS the TAXPAYERS of this NATION OWED FOREIGN BANKERS, thanks to the NDP'S OTTLEY HALL SCANDAL? Are we going to get back the 19 MILLION DOLLARS that EUSTACE gave the FOREIGN BANK before Dr. GONSALVES came in and RESCUE this NATION from paying the 180+ dollars? No MINDBENDING TRICK will make this NATION FORGET what the NDP did during its 17 YEARS in OFFICE

Nevertheless, notice you cannot SPEAK about the NDP when it comes to LEADERSHIP, POLICIES, PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATES, BREAD and BUTTER issues and TRUST of the PEOPLE, because you know you will FAIL every SINGLE time and so you're left to NITPICK at issues of the ULP that have been dealt with.
For example, the issue with Slater, which became a non issue once everything was explained....the accused rape issue, which has been dismissed by the courts. As for ALBA and PETRO CARIBE, it is not worth discussing how those POLICIES have helped SVG TREMENDOUSLY. What has AMERICA helped SVG with? Oh yeah, America practically killed our AGRICULTURAL sector by DESTROYING our BANANA INDUSTRY.
Yes, the ULP has the TRUST of the PEOPLE and that is why it won two consecutive GENERAL ELECTIONS by a 13-2 margin and will win again in the upcoming election. So when it comes to GOVERNING SVG, there is no DOUBT that the PEOPLE of SVG TRUST this GOVERNMENT to get things done.

I can confirm that the ndp did conduct such a poll, which was done by a reputable pollster from the region. It was a random sampling of just under 1,200 people.
I can also confirm the accuracy of the "gonsalves vs. eustace" data and the "airport" data.
What i cannot confirm is the 10-5 data. My understanding was that it was a national "issues" poll, and not a constituency-by-constituency poll. What was shown to me certainly didn't have any constituency data. In any event, constituency data would be suspect since the ulp hasnt announced its slate of candidates yet...AND because we'll soon have 2 new constituencies.
the ndp poll reflects a "swing" towards the ndp of just over 2%, but the pollster notes that their last poll did not include data from the grenadines, while this new one does -- meaning the swing may be less than 2%. Maybe if you extrapolate and move 2% of the votes in each constituency you get to 10-5. I dunno.
But the poll did happen, and parts of it have been carelessly leaked by a reputable source,who is now in hot water with her party.
I also understand (but i have not seen it) that the ulp did a similar internal poll with similar numbers on the "gonsalves vs. eustace" issue at least

I repeat: I have seen the poll results. I never said they were done by SCL. I said by a reputable regional pollster. Maybe SCL paid for it, maybe not. But a regional pollster did it. I repeat also that, having seen it, I can corroborate the info regarding ralph v. arnhim's leadership numbers. I repeat also that i did not see any info about number of constituencies to ndp or ulp.
i know what I saw. No one here has to agree with my opinions, but I have never come on this forum with factual falsehoods.
