WHY IS THERE ALWAYS A POLITICAL DIVIDED IN OUR SMALL COUNTRY??
why cant i support the party i want...without haveing to be hated or jaded? why cant we just agree to disagree? we have seen people take there love of a political party to the extreme where they wanna cuss and fight...brother not talking to brother...all because we have different views and support a different party . so what are we voting for the PARTY or are we voting for who is gonna do better for the COUNTRY... put ya country before your party and learn to accept that not everyone shear your views and opinions

Its all because of our mentality,we only see things two ways RED/YELLOW,take for instance the current referendum,its all about party NDP says vote NO ,ULP says vote YES,most persons who we hear saying they voting a particular way havent even seen or read the document but because their leader say ione thing they go with it they shouldnt be this is onething that we suppose to UNITE on.THE POLITICIAN ARE NOT HELPING.

Party would come and party would go...it does not matter who go there, we all have to realize is we the people are the government and when we choose to support a particular party one have a right to express his or her opinion on matters that affect the country, so one should not hold malice with one aother, after all is said and done when the dust have all settled is we all have to live in it wheather or not the dust leave us blinded or coughing, someone would have to take up the mantle cause we have a country to build after all....so live love unit and most of all think or look at th bigger picture...our country, nd stap look at a particual individual...peace!!

BIMAZ, you MAKE some GOOD POINTS.
That said, when I look at the POLITICAL PARTIES in SVG, I do not see RED or YELLOW. I LOOK at which party is the MOST COMPETENT and who is the MOST COMPETENT LEADER, because I am LOOKING at what is BEST for the FORWARD PROGRESS and DEVELOPMENT of SVG.
Like I have STATED in one of these THREADS, it PAINS me that the NDP is not a FORMIDABLE party to take on the ULP. It PAINS me that EUSTACE is not a FORMIDABLE LEADER to take on Dr. GONSALVES.
The KIND of YEOMAN'S work that Dr. GONSALVES has done on BEHALF of our NATION, I just CANNOT FATHOM Eustace doing it. He simply hasn't SHOWN me that he has the DRIVE, the COMMITMENT, the INTELLIGENCE, the CHARISMA and the ANALYTICAL SKILLS that will make me FEEL CONFIDENT that he is the RIGHT LEADER that SVG needs in these TRYING TIMES to GOVERN our NATION.
When I look at the SLATE of CANDIDATES that the NDP has chosen to CONTEST the NEXT election, the FACT that I have no CONFIDENCE in EUSTACE as the LEADER doesn't allow me to FEEL at EASE, because many of these INDIVIDUALS are highly questionable when one looks at COMPETENCY factor.

Frankly, I just DREAD the IDEA of seeing Mr. LEACOCK as DEPUTY LEADER of an NDP GOVERNMENT, because I see him as a LEARNED EMPTY VESSEL. I see him being a SLICKSTER instead of a COMPETENT PARLIAMENTARIAN and LEADER. I have ZERO CONFIDENCE in him.
I tend to see people say this and that about Dr. GONSALVES, but I have YET to see them say that Mr. EUSTACE is a more COMPETENT LEADER than HIM. So that is telling me that DESPITE the fact that some might have RESERVATIONS about Dr. GONSALVES, it seems like they're not READY to say that EUSTACE is the more COMPETENT LEADER.
If that is the CASE, then there should be no DOUBT that the SITTING GOVERNMENT should CONTINUE its QUEST to make this NATION a MODEL for all other NATIONS in the REGION to EMULATE.

Making silly rum shop comments at every events he speaks at does not make him charismatic. Saying shit like i have a perfect middle finger does not make one charismatic...
the point is there is not blue print for being a great leader and the reason you guys don't see Mr Eustace as a great leader is because he does not reply to the infant one antics of Ralph, he does not bring himself to his level. He stick to the issues like "please tell us how much the airport cost" . As a citizen i rather hear that than how perfect someone's middle finger is. LUCKY for our NATION, the ULP came into OFFICE, and through the EXCELLENT LEADERSHIP of our CURRENT PRIME MINISTER, we’re able to RID our NATION’S OBLIGATION for PAYING MOST of that DEBT.
Moreover, we have SEEN the FINANCES of our NATION INCREASE thanks to the EXCELLENT FISCAL DISCIPLINE and WISE DECISIONS by the MINISTER of FINANCE, PRIME MINISTER Dr. Ralph Gonsalves.
So yes, in this TIME of GLOBAL ECONOMIC UNCERTAINTY, we NEED a LEADER who has DEMONSTRATED IMPECCABLE DECISIONS when it comes to FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY and that GOOD LEADER is no other than DR. RALPH GONSALVES.

They cannot FIX two POTHOLES but they can BUILD a BRIDGE that the NDP said COULD NEVER be BUILT, and which they were also HOPING the RAIN ACTIVITIES in the SOUFRIERE HILLS would LEAD to the WASHING AWAY of the BRIDGE.
How can ANYONE SERIOUSLY have any RESPECT for that BACKWARD PARTY called the NDP??

It is IRRELEVANT whether or not I GIVE a CONTRIBUTION. What is RELEVANT is the FACT that you see GIVING a CONTRIBUTION to HELP BUILD the INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT as somehow WRONG!
I FIND that ANY VINCENTIAN who gives a DONATION should be COMMENDED for their PATRIOTIC DEED.
There is a saying that goes like this: "you can TAKE the PERSON out of the COUNTRY but you CANNOT TAKE the COUNTRY out o the PERSON."
