High Voltage Mas Band was formed on 15th August 2002 under the leadership of Kingsley Collis and other mas enthusiasts from Pauls Avenue and areas around Kingstown. Our first mas presentation was in 2003 and since then the band has been improving in size and quality of presentation.

Special mention must be made of our many sponsors who assisted the band from inception. In 2005 Aunt Jobe's Market became our major sponsor and hence the name Aunt Jobe's Market High Voltage Mas Band.

The Band is held together by an executive and committed members who work assiduously to maintain the operation of the mas tent. Our Mas Presentation over the years include: 2003 - "Natural Beauty" - We potrayed different types of butterflies. 2004 - "Glitter and Glamorous" - We potrayed things that glitter and things that are glamorous. 2005 - "For The Love Of" - We Potrayed this that people love. 2006 - "Visions Of Rapture" - We potrayed pleasures and desires. 2007 - "Tribes Of Famorsa" - We potrayed some of the indigenous people of Taiwan. 2008 - "Myths and Legends" - We potrayed Egypt pharaohs, queens and godesses of the ancient era. 2009 - "In The Purple Of Things" - We potrayed the power of the colour purple and some of the things that are associated with the colour purple.

For 2010, our Mas presentation would be "Occupations", we would be taking some of the everyday jobs and transforming them into fun for Carnival.
