You were born to lead
but held captive becuz of your color
never given the chance to break free from this captivity
Born to a family of revolutionists
a panther strong running thru your veins
but becuz of your loyalty you'll never to breathe again
you stood up for wat you believed in
fell victim to your circumstances
trying to hide but there was hope for black people
you believed in a change whilst the rest blinded by fame
trying to cage the beast within
coz it was too full a rage *they say
too influential you were
but you never allow them to get in your way
gone you are
thru the dark and great beyond
never again will you shine
taken to the heavens
in quest for a brighter day
from now till forever your word of wisdom will never stray
for you Tupac Amaru Shakur lives on in our memory
and in our hearts he is here to stay
