Reggae super star Jimmy Cliff will be among the latest inductees in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Monday.

Jimmy Cliff, OM (born James Chambers; 1 April 1948) is a Jamaican ska and reggae singer, musician and actor. He is the only currently living musician to hold the Order of Merit, the highest honor that can be granted by the Jamaican government for achievement in the arts and sciences. He is best known among mainstream audiences for songs such as "Sitting in Limbo", "You Can Get It If You Really Want", and "Many Rivers to Cross" from the soundtrack to The Harder They Come. Among his many honors, Cliff will have Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee to add to the list.

Others to be inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Jimmy Cliff includes Genesis, The Hollies and the Stooges. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees were chosen by a voting committee of the foundation. Artists are eligible 25 years after their first recording is released.
