Former Fugee Lauryn Hill has finally broken her silence on some recent controversial comments by her former bandmate Wyclef Jean.

Back in September, Wyclef made some shocking revelations about L Boogie in his new book. According to the Haitian born singer, Lauryn Hill deceived him into believing her first born was his when Rohan Marley was truely the father.

Lauryn Hill has remained silent on the issue for the most part until a recent show in Dallas where she lashed out at the “Gone Till November” singer.

This is what Lauryn Hill told the audience.

When you are on the other side of liberation, just make sure you are not late. Be careful how you judge, there is a lot of deception out there. A lot of misunderstanding out there. A lot of miscommunication out there. A lot of false information out there. And notice, out of all the people who talk talk talk, who’s the silent one. There’s a lot of chatter.

And you know why? Let me tell you why I don’t chat back. Because I know that my brothers and my sisters are often times pawns in a bigger scheme so when they, under pressure, attack me, I love them still. It’s called the high road. Try taking it sometimes.

Last month Rohan Marley also defended Lauryn Hill from the allegations, calling Clef an opportunist who just want to sell copies of his book. That moved by Marley caught fans off guards since he and Lauryn Hill has been separated for over a year now.
