Timbaland Sign On To Jay-Z Roc Nation Label
Jay-Z just added another music heavy weight to his growing Roc Nation roster.
The rap mogul confirmed the news via his Life + Times blog earlier today with a photo of the two hanging out in the studio.
“Roc Nation Welcomes Timbaland To The Family,” Jay-Z wrote.
The record label and publishing firm was founded by Jay-Z in 2008. The label is home to some of music’s biggest names including Rihanna, Rita Ora, Wale, Stargate, J. Cole, Melanie Fiona and many more.
On his Life + Times blog, Jay-Z quote some lyrics from one of his Timbaland produced singles, “And I Won’t Surrender It With Beats By TIMBALAND.”
Timbaland and Jay-Z recently collaborated on Justin Timberlake’s newsingle “Suit & Tie.”
