Vybz Kartel Second Murder Trial Postponed AGAIN
Embattled dancehall star Vybz Kartel will again have to wait longer to know his fate in his ongoing murder trial.
Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, and his co-accused appeared in the Home Circuit Court earlier today in relation to the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams. However, the trial did not get underway because his lead attorney Valerie Neita-Robertson is busy with another trial.
Vybz Kartel was jointly charged with protege Shawn ‘Storm’ Campbell, stylist/fashion designer Calvin Haye, Kahira Jones, Shane Williams, and Andre St John.
According to police report, Clive “Lizard” Williams was murdered by Vybz Kartel and his co-accused over a missing firearm. Detectives say they have video evidence linking Vybz Kartel to the murder.
Williams’ body was never found.
Vybz Kartel trial for Clive Williams murder is now set for January 21.
Last month another Vybz Kartel murder trial was postponed in relation to Barrington “Bossie” Burton.
Kartel returns to court on December 3 for that trial
