Beyonce has long portrayed herself as a wife, entertainer, sister, and daughter, but after watching her new documentary Life Is But A Dream, we concluded that the most important role for her now is being a mother.
The 1 hour and 25 minutes long film chronicles the life of the most popular pop star of the 21st century.
In the documentary, Beyonce reveals some of her most intimate family moments and some of her most emotional times including her miscarriage before having her daughter Blue Ivy Carter.
“I picked out names,” Beyonce said about her miscarriage. “I envisioned what my child would look like. Literally the week before, I went to the doctor, everything was fine, but there was no heartbeat. It was the saddest thing I’ve ever been through.”
