Beauty queen Yendi Phillipps will soon be Ms. McGregor. The former Miss Jamaica Universe and her boyfriend Daniel “Chino” McGregor recently got engaged.
Rumors have been flying around over the last few weeks that the two are planning to tie the knot. Now sources close to the Big Ship deejay exclusively told Urban Islandz that the rumors are true.
“Chino and Yendi are a solid couple, it is not just two celebrities dating, it is real genuine love,” the source revealed.

“They have been engaged a little while now but the news is only coming out now because folks outside our circle didn’t know. Despite being celebrities they are regular down to earth people who deserve some privacy,” the source added.
Phillipps was also spotted yesterday wearing a huge engagement rock while doing hosting duties on TVJ’s Smile Jamaica. The source also hinted that Phillipps should be giving birth some time later this month.
Yendi Phillipps shocked fans earlier this year when she announced via her Facebook page that she is pregnant. Her pregnancy came just a few months after Urban Islandz revealed that she and Chino are dating after she broke up with ex-boyfriend and track star Asafa Powell.
